Student Assistant - People & Culture
Ambu A/S is currently looking for a new Student Assistant in People & Culture to be based in our global headquarter in Ballerup. Reporting to our Global Head of Organization Development, you’ll play an active role in supporting leaders, employees and colleagues in People & Culture through global and local initiatives. You will work closely with experienced HR professionals and be involved in different ongoing activities and projects.

Working hours
We expect the normal weekly working hours is between 10 and 15 hours varying with peaks and exams. We cannot guarantee a certain amount of hours.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
Leadership Development Programme Support
- Assist in the coordination and administration of LEAD AHEAD, the global leadership development programme.
- Handle logistics for sessions, booking venues, managing participant lists and rescheduling, and preparing materials.
- Support communication with participants, facilitators, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain programme documentation, data, and evaluation materials.
Maintenance of digital learning platform
- Provide 1st level user support for our digital learning platform
- Assist in curating learning journeys for LEAD AHEAD and other development programs
- Support ongoing coordination and collaboration with IT on developing the system.
Annual HR Processes
- Support the planning and execution of the AmbuDialogue process (performance and development process).
- Assist in managing the global engagement survey cycle, Our Voice, including preparation, communication, and follow‑up activities.
- Help maintain timelines, templates, and materials used across HR processes.
Ad Hoc Projects
- Contribute to ongoing Group People & culture initiatives, e.g. career fairs etc.
Suggested candidate profile
Education
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme within HR, business, or a related field.
Skills
- Strong administrative and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with data and digital tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, HR systems).
- A proactive work style and willingness to take initiative.
Personal
- Structured and reliable.
- Positive and service‑minded.
- Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to collaborate well with stakeholders across teams and seniority levels.
