Ambu A/S is currently looking for a student assistant for the Global Legal team to be based in Ballerup, Denmark.

We are looking for a highly qualified student assistant to act as a proactive partner to the legal team and to various business functions of Ambu.

 

As a student assistant at Ambu, you will become part of our global legal organization and collaborate closely with both Danish and international colleagues. You will report to our Lead Legal Procurement and Head of Data Privacy in Denmark. The position offers an average workload of 15–20 hours per week, with mutual flexibility during exam periods. Your workplace will be our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Updating data privacy compliance documentation.
  • Assisting with review of various commercial contracts.
  • Handling filing and registration in business registries, legalization of documents including notarizations, and updating the document filings in our systems.
  • Conducting legal research to support projects and initiatives.
  • Updating training materials.
  • Maintaining Global Legal’s SharePoint sites.
  • Supporting the Global Legal team on general ad-hoc legal tasks.
  • Supporting all Ambu entities with various legal tasks, including corporate governance.

 

 

Suggested candidate profile

 

Skills and experience can be developed in many different ways, and we recognize that the ideal candidate cannot be defined solely on paper. However, you are likely to thrive in this role if you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor's/master's law program or business law program at a Danish university with a minimum of 2 years left of your studies
  • Thrive on handling a wide range of tasks and consistently deliver professional services
  • Have English and Danish skills at a professional level
  • Have a practical and proactive approach with a can-do attitude
  • Possess excellent analytical skills and know how to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Have great communication and collaboration skills
  • Have strong attention to detail

 

It is essential that you are naturally committed, proactive, and able to identify and pursue opportunities. You demonstrate high integrity and strong interpersonal skills. In this role, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility and offered ample opportunities to grow both professionally and personally while collaborating with skilled legal colleagues and stakeholders. You bring solid business acumen, work independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience as a legal student assistant is an advantage, though not a requirement.
