We are currently looking for a Solution Integration Specialist, who wants to be a part of that growth journey and take lead on key priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing our integration strategy and help ensuring strong solutions across all markets by working closely together with and supporting our sales territories. Focus is to ensure that we understand customers’ needs and requirements, so we can define how to address these to maximize value of current solutions and help road-mapping future solutions. Furthermore, you will also need to become the global knowledge center on our Solutions Integration, incl. building knowledge, developing best-practices as well as training and supporting colleagues.
You will work alongside the established team within EndoIntelligence to increase our penetration and business opportunities at a growing number of call points globally. You will join an international team with highly dedicated colleagues, but also have strong ties in our Sales Territories and other departments. The position is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Some traveling (20%) should be expected as a part of the job.
A role with a huge impact We are looking for a Solution Integration Specialist to be the global owner and driver of the area. The person will play a significant role by taking part in understanding the needs of the customers and how we could service them, as well as be a contributor in developing new solutions and rolling them out to ensure success for our customers. In the role, you will be a strong business partner for our Sales Territories and internal departments such as R&D, RA, Operations and Global Marketing
As a Solution Integration Specialist your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to assess the hospital systems and workflows as well as customer needs (incl. data-transfer, auxiliary equipment, external screens, cybersecurity, etc.) in order to understand how to best meet these now and later with our solutions
- Become a subject matter expert on hospital integrations and related topics and in this capacity building our internal knowledge, developing best practices, communicating the value of our solutions vs. competitors, as well as training and supporting colleagues in our sales territories
- Support commercialization of our solutions by providing support to our sales territories and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop messaging and materials on integration and related topics, including cybersecurity
- Monitor industry trends and best practices related to healthcare technology integration
- Take part in shaping and delivering a best-in-class customer experience, as well as supporting projects related to customer satisfaction and our EndoIntelligence
Key competences
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are, however, likely to succeed in this position if you have:
- Hands-on experience working with integration and connectivity in a hospital or healthcare setting (strongly preferred). You understand hospital IT systems, workflows, data transfer, and the practical realities of implementing solutions in clinical environments.
- Solid technical understanding of both hardware and software integration, including knowledge of relevant healthcare standards, protocols, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience assessing and integrating systems in complex environments — ideally including awareness of healthcare technical and safety standards.
- Background from the medical device, healthcare IT, or software industry, preferably in an international context
- Your experience or skillset enables you to investigate, solve problems, learn and become an expert on topics, enabling you to become a trusted partner. In this, you can communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and have an interest in understanding the needs across geographies.
- It is natural for you to work and take ownership of deliverables, while working convincingly with various stakeholders.
- As a person, you have a curious nature, ability to “go deep” to build a good understanding, develop targeted solutions and see opportunities to improve. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork, to which you should have excellent cooperation skills
- A degree in engineering, healthcare technology, IT, or a related field as well as excellent English skills and global mindset.
