We are currently looking for a Senior Solution Strategy Manager, who will play a critical role in defining the future of Ambus offering. You will be responsible for leading the strategic work in identifying the right portfolio and that all our product components align into one solution that is also experienced as one solution by our customers. In this, you will get great exposure to both product development and commercial execution and be the anchor point for strategic direction and overall roadmap. Key is to instill a portfolio- and solution mentality across pipeline and in-market offerings and ensure that our portfolio aligns with overall vision and maximize value creation across our targeted value pools.

You will be part of the established team within EndoIntelligence & Customer Success, but you will have close collaboration across the organization, not at least with the different Product Management teams, both upstream and downstream, as well as the Sales Territories and R&D. You will join an international and highly dedicated team, that is responsible for driving a transformation across Ambu, where one of the key components is going from products to solutions. The position is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Some traveling should be expected as a part of the job.

Driving solution thinking for the benefit of customers and Ambu
Our new Senior Solution Strategy Manager will be instrumental in ensuring that we have a roadmap of solutions aligned with customer needs and strategic direction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and maintaining a full solutions roadmap with assessments of the attractiveness of our solutions now and later across value pools fueled by deep customer understanding
• Being an anchor-point and thought-leader on end-of-end solution thinking from a commercial perspective from early-stage ideation to commercialization
• Driving that all our product components aligns into one solution that is also experienced as one solution by our customers
• Identifying, clarifying and providing recommendations for strategic dilemmas and trade-offs
• Building trusted relationships across the organization, to build momentum and alignment behind the solution-thinking, incl. collaboration with product management teams, solution architects in R&D, business development, etc.

Key competences
To succeed in this role, you will have experience with strategy and portfolio development and combine it with commercial understanding and excellent collaboration skills, as well as the ability to create clarity and followership. We imagine you bring:

• Extensive experience from strategy and/or portfolio development from a consultancy an or an internal strategy role, enabling you to approach a project or problem with an analytical and structured mindset, as well as creating clarity on choices and trade-offs
• Strong track record of setting direction and being a proponent for value creation, as well as motivated by thinking in solution and driving a holistic approach to understand opportunities
• exceptional strategic acumen in navigating complex environments  
• Understanding of health care and life science, incl. understanding of the customers and users and their needs within a hospital system
• Excellent collaboration skills, as you will need to collaborate with various roles and create followership to solution-thinking
• A curious and positive mindset, that enables you to learn, evaluate and adapt fast, and make succeed working both independently and with stakeholders possessing complementary skillsets
