Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Senior Organizational Development Manager to be based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In this role, you will play a leading role in designing, implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of strategic organization and leadership development initiatives across Ambu. You will report to the Head of Organization Development and work closely with People & Culture (P&C), business leaders, and global stakeholders. Your focus will span leadership development, change management, performance management, and employee engagement, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and development across the organization.

The position is based out of our Ballerup, Denmark HQ with the opportunity for hybrid work.

 

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead on design and rollout of global leadership development initiatives.
  • Support delivery of leadership development initiatives across the organization where you also will play a key role in facilitating local sessions.
  • Partner with P&C and business leaders to ensure alignment with strategy and culture.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Design and oversee execution of performance management processes
  • Coordinate logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement for key deliverables
  • Deliver capability-building activities around goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Translate engagement insights into actionable plans in collaboration with leaders and teams.
  • Contribute to broader OD initiatives such as change management, culture development, and talent strategy.

 

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are, however, likely to succeed in this position if you:

  • Have deep prior experience in designing, planning, organizing and facilitating leadership development initiatives, and that you seamlessly shift from strategic work to daily operations.
  • Demonstrate strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Possess an analytical mindset and can translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Are an excellent communicator and experienced facilitator, comfortable engaging diverse audiences at all levels in the organization.
  • Stay current with new and best practices in leadership development and OD.

We do expect that you:

  • Have extensive, direct experience designing, and delivering on, organisation wide leadership initiatives
  • Have experience working in a global matrix organization.
  • Hold a relevant educational degree
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
