As our new Senior Global Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving upstream pipeline development projects within the urology business area. You will set the commercial direction for new product opportunities, ensuring that user and customer needs are central to every stage of development.
Success in this role means working closely with R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Sustainability to create strong value propositions and go-to-market strategies that turn innovation into real impact. You’ll join a collaborative Pipeline & Product Management team that values creativity and excellence, reporting directly to the Director of Global Product Management, Urology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the commercial lead in new product development projects, setting the strategic direction of your product area to ensure a successful launch.
- Translate customer insights and unmet needs into actionable product and design requirements.
- Lead and facilitate advisory boards and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) during development.
- Develop business cases and portfolio scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct early-phase market and customer investigations to identify opportunities, user needs, and market potential.
- Drive Launch Excellence by defining clear value propositions, product claims, and messaging frameworks.
- Post-launch, continue to optimize performance through customer feedback, data insights, and lifecycle management
Suggested candidate profile:
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:
- Strong commercial, product management, or clinical experience within MedTech or healthcare.
- Experience from Urology or a surgical field is a strong advantage, but it is not a prerequisite
- A track record of leading product innovation projects from concept to launch.
- You have participated in or led innovation projects from early concept to launch, enabling you to balance customer insights, technical considerations, and business priorities.
- Ability to turn complex user needs into clear commercial recommendations, using your strategic mindset and business acumen to drive informed decisions across a global matrix organization
- A master’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working cross-functionally in product development.
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and curiosity about clinical and market trends.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to align stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Excellent English communication skills and a global outlook.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to conferences, customer visits, and global subsidiaries.
