We are now looking for a skilled and proactive electronics engineer to join our Platform Innovation team within the Software and Electronics department. You will be part of our Electronics Team, responsible for the electronics in our visualization devices. 

 

Your Responsibilities 

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in product development projects, leading hardware design and implementation efforts. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver robust and innovative solutions for real-time and safety-critical systems. 

Your main tasks will include: 

  • Leading electronics development activities within cross-functional projects 

  • Designing and implementing hardware solutions for embedded systems and video-based medical devices 

  • Driving hardware architecture, component selection, and system integration 

  • Reviewing and verifying electronics designs, including patient safety and EMC compliance 

  • Supporting verification and testing in collaboration with external partners 

  • Ensuring documentation complies with FDA and ISO standards 

  • Assisting QA/RA with regulatory and quality assurance tasks 

  • Collaborating with software, mechanical, and clinical teams to ensure seamless product integration 

 

Your Qualifications 

To succeed in this role, you are a structured and detail-oriented engineer with a proactive mindset and strong collaboration skills. We expect you to have: 

  • A Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar 

  • 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware development 

  • Solid experience with analog and digital circuit design, embedded systems, and communication interfaces (e.g., USB, Ethernet, wireless technologies) 

  • Familiarity with electronics lab tools for debugging and profiling custom boards 

  • Experience with medical device standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC 62304) 

  • Experience with supplier quality audits and regulatory documentation 

  • Strong communication skills in English 

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 20 days/year) 

  • CAD knowlegde (Cadence OrCad X) 

Experience with video interfaces, image sensors, or computer vision is a plus, but not a requirement.
