To ensure Ambu’s continued success, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Lead to manage all payroll matters for our employees employed in Ambu A/S in our headquarter in Ballerup.  
 
You will work out of our headquarters in Ballerup, and you will be part of the HQ accounting department that consists of 4 dedicated and professional team members. The accounting department is responsible for accounting activities related to the headquarter and the Nordic Region, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, VAT etc. You will report to the Finance Manager, HQ & EMEA, Lotte Lund. The accounting department is an integrated part of Global Finance & Accounting.
 
Solid payroll experience

 

As our Payroll Lead, your solid experience enables you to ensure all payroll activities run smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining employee data, processing, booking, and reconciling the monthly payroll for Ambu A/S. In addition to running the payroll process for our Danish employees you will also take ownership of and communicate with external payroll service providers for our employees in Scandinavia.

 

You will work closely with our HR department who will give input on new contracts, changes, and resignations. You will also be responsible for payroll related accruals, salary input to forecast and budget, documentation to the auditors and handling of ad hoc payroll related tasks. 


As Payroll Lead your responsibilities will include:
 
•    Process, book and reconcile monthly payroll for Ambu A/S
•    Ensure timely and quality in payroll preparation and calculations
•    Support the organization and answer employee’s questions and concerns regarding payroll
•    Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
•    Ensure correct payroll accruals
•    Maintain and update payroll records
•    Manage taxes, social security, and other reporting to Danish and Nordic tax authorities
•    Optimize processes related to payroll and maintain process descriptions
 
Key competences
 
Since you will be our self-running payroll guru, it is of course crucial that you take ownership and enjoy creating structure. We also imagine that you are a structured and detail-oriented person, who understand the need for good documentation to ensure compliance with laws, rules, guidelines, processes, and systems. 

You probably have a minimum of 5 years of experience within payroll processes and payroll systems. It is an advantage, if you have experience with Lessor PM, or the ability to learn new systems in a short period of time. You probably have a degree in accounting or a related field, you are a master of Excel, and you enjoy working in an international environment,

You are eager to learn new things and can adapt to new ways of working quickly, as we continuously mature our processes. This means that you should be curious, ask questions and suggest solutions.
