As our new Global S&OP/E & IBP Specialist, you will be a key architect in maturing our integrated planning cycles. Operating from our HQ in Ballerup, DK, you will bridge the gap between commercial ambitions and operational execution, helping to stabilize our current processes while enabling more data-driven and forward-looking decision-making across Sales, Procurement, and Finance.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Continuously refine and enhance the global monthly S&OP cycle across demand and supply planning, supporting the shift from a traditional S&OP set-up towards a more integrated business planning approach with clear commercial and financial alignment.
  • Develop high-quality S&OP materials for senior stakeholders by translating complex data into clear, financially sound decision insights.
  • Facilitate cross-functional forecast reviews, aligning inputs and resolving deviations, inconsistencies, and uncertainties to establish a unified forecast.
  • Support scenario planning and trade-off discussions across growth, service levels, and product availability.
  • Combine demand, supply, financial, and commercial inputs into one consolidated plan aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Partner closely with commercial and finance teams on campaign planning, financial commitments, and performance trade-offs.
  • Ensure that key strategic initiatives (e.g. capacity changes, NPI, supplier adjustments, pricing updates) are incorporated into the S&OP process.
  • Oversee regional performance by defining relevant KPIs, monitoring progress, and identifying risks.
  • Take ownership of S&OP KPIs and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to drive performance improvements.
  • Maintain a 12-to-24-month rolling capacity outlook to identify potential bottlenecks in production or global logistics early.

 

 

Suggested candidate profile

 

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Min. of 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, including hands-on work with S&OP, IBP, or similar cross-functional planning processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to create clear, structured materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage and align stakeholders across functions.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and interdependencies.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI and experience working with ERP systems.
  • Ability to respond to changing conditions, such as demand variability or supply disruptions, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Experience from a regulated industry is considered an advantage but not a requirement.
