The role serves as the enterprise authority for how the process should operate across the organization, ensuring alignment, consistency, and scalability across regions, business units, and functions.

The GPO has final decision authority for global process design, standards, business rules, controls, and high-level ways of working within the Order to Cash domain. The role owns the global process governance framework, process performance expectations, KPI structure, and continuous improvement roadmap.

Working closely with Global Business Owners, Global Process Leads, IT, and business stakeholders, the GPO ensures that ERP capabilities, solution designs, and business requirements remain aligned with approved global standards while balancing justified regulatory, commercial, and local operational requirements. The role is responsible for safeguarding end-to-end process integrity and ensuring sustainable process ownership beyond programme completion.

You’ll standardize these processes globally while balancing customer experience, revenue protection, compliance and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional decisions and trade-offs involving service levels, order fulfilment, distribution, revenue recognition interfaces, credit, cash, compliance, and customer experience.
  • Mobilize Process Leads, market and functional experts, and Local Responsibles; ensure representative design input, test coverage, readiness, training, and adoption across countries.
  • Establish process KPIs, controls, data standards, decision rights, and benefit tracking, including order quality, fulfilment, billing accuracy, receivables, cash conversion, and process compliance.

  • Comfortable working across time zones, with flexibility to occasionally engage outside standard working hours
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Most importantly, you’ll combine strategic thinking with the ability to deliver transformation at scale.
