Position Summary

Are you ready to shape the future of Ambu's global operations processes and business functions through major ERP, QMS, and PLM transformation? We are seeking a visionary leader to drive a landmark multi-year digital transformation across our global footprint, optimizing production, quality, procurement, and supply chain processes.

The Functional Program Director will be responsible for all transformation activities across the Operations area. Working closely together with the Global Program Director, and Operations leadership, you will serve as both a key member of the strategic ideation, and ensure successful execution.

Currently in the initial scoping phase, this initiative will consolidate enterprise operations globally using the Infor M3 ERP platform and the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem.

This high-impact role will establish the guiding principles for our future ERP, QMS, and PLM operating model. The position requires a leader who can drive effective change management, thrive in a highly matrixed, fast paced environment, simplify complex workflows, deliver business transformation, eliminate fragmented Excel-dependent processes, and ensure global standardization within an ambitious 3–4-year timeline.

 

Core Responsibilities

Governance & Strategy

Map the current ("as-is") situation and define the future-state global process, business transformation roadmap, and operating model, balancing multi-entity standardization with critical local requirements. Define and execute the operations digital roadmap to maximize value realization, consistency, and cost efficiency.

Lead  a team of 6–9 Global Business Owners and 5 Global Process Owners , operating in a matrix organization across six VP-led functional areas. Representing the COO area in the Transformation Program Management, you will have direct accountability of executing on the strategy through key deliverables from the wider organisation.

Process Optimization & Innovation

Map the current ("as-is") situation and continuously simplify and automate workflows across production, quality, procurement, and supply chain functions. Lead digitalization initiatives, including AI-driven methods and process intelligence solutions, in collaboration with business stakeholders and external system integrator consultants.

Business Transformation

Map the current ("as-is") situation and lead the development of a dedicated team of process managers, business managers, and subject matter experts. Execute a global change management strategy tailored to a fast-paced, compliance-driven culture, ensuring alignment across regions.

Compliance & Data Harmonization

Partner with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure that platforms meet international compliance requirements. Lead migration, cleansing, and structuring of legacy data into a unified and scalable architecture.

 

Required Experience & Technical Skills

Executive Track Record

10+ years of leadership experience managing global operations processes, digital transformation programs, or enterprise application implementations.

Transformational Delivery

Proven experience leading end-to-end ERP implementations and business process transformation within multinational organizations. Experience with Infor M3 and Dassault Systèmes is highly advantageous.

Industry Context

Strong background in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations within highly regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, life sciences, or pharmaceuticals).

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Global Mobility

Flexibility to travel internationally and spend extended periods at manufacturing sites during critical project phases. Expected travel commitment of approximately 50–80 days per year, including visits to Malaysia, China, Mexico, and the United States.
