Ambu A/S is currently looking for a Finance Business Controller to be based in Ambu’s HQ in Ballerup.
This role is part of the Finance Business Partnering function within the Parent & EMEA Accounting team and reports directly to the Director, Parent & EMEA Accounting. You will work closely with global functional leaders and cross-functional project teams to strengthen financial transparency, improve forecasting quality, and support strategic initiatives across the organization. The position offers a strong opportunity to influence decision making, enhance governance, and contribute to Ambu’s digital finance and process optimization journey.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide financial business support to global functions
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Conduct deviation and variance analyses with actionable insights
- Perform project controlling, including financial tracking and risk assessment
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and Finance Managers
- Participate in finance and cross functional projects
- Contribute to global process optimization and harmonization initiatives
- Support digitalization efforts, including automation and data driven improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, quality standards, and MedTech regulatory requirements

You also bring:
- An educational background in Finance, e.g. a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, ideally with a strong foundation in accounting
- Around 5-7 years of relevant work experience within accounting and financial controlling
- Good understanding of, and hands‑on experience working with, Danish GAAP and IFRS
- Solid experience with project controlling
- Experience working in global organizations and collaborating across cultures and time zones
- Strong skills in finance systems, Power BI, PowerPoint, and ERP platforms
- Fluency in English
- Experience working in regulated industries (MedTech, pharma, life sciences) is an advantage
