Business Process Manager, Supply Chain Transformation
City:  Ballerup
State:
Country:  Denmark
Business Area:  Supply Chain
Department:  Global Supply Chain
Employment Type:  Full-time

Are you passionate about optimizing supply chain operations and driving global change? Do you want to be part of a transformation journey that is reshaping how Ambu delivers value to patients worldwide?

Ambu is transforming – and this is your opportunity to lead real change.

We’re establishing a brand-new Supply Chain Transformation department within our Global Supply Chain organization, and we’re looking for multiple Business Process Managers to join us on this journey. You will play a central role in building and driving transformation initiatives across our global supply chain while also helping to shape the function itself. That includes defining ways of working, building our transformation “toolbox,” and laying the foundation for how we deliver change across the global supply chain.

At Ambu, we’re on an ambitious growth journey - scaling our operations and capabilities to meet the rising global demand for our innovative medical solutions. As part of this journey, you will join a highly motivated team that values initiative, impact, and collaboration - and you’ll have a front-row seat in driving the evolution of our global supply chain.

Your mission

As a Business Process Manager, you will act as a process expert and key representative for Supply Chain in cross-functional transformation initiatives. You will drive assessments, identify opportunities, and implement improvements that take our end-to-end supply chain performance to the next level. As initiatives are frequently supported by ERP or related systems, improvements must be properly integrated into the IT landscape through close collaboration with our IT organization.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will work across global functions and geographies, ensuring that supply chain best practices and process excellence are embedded into Ambu’s transformation roadmap.

In this role, you will report to the Director, Supply Chain Transformation.

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Drive assessment, design, and implementation of supply chain optimization initiatives globally
  • Build strong process knowledge across key supply chain domains (e.g., planning, logistics, manufacturing, distribution)
  • Represent Supply Chain in cross-functional projects and transformation forums
  • Analyze current processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure alignment of supply chain processes with ERP systems and digital tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and regions to ensure global adoption of new ways of working
  • Support change management efforts to embed sustainable improvements across the organization
  • Provide guidance and contribute to building frameworks, best practices, and standardized approaches for how we work within the Supply Chain Transformation department

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:

  • 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, business process management, or transformation roles
  • You may have gained your first experience from a consultancy or by driving supply chain initiatives internally within an organization
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain operations, ideally across multiple functions (planning, logistics, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., APS, WMS) is an advantage
  • A strong analytical mindset and a passion for working with data—you enjoy using data to uncover insights, guide decisions, and measure impact
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, independent approach - you bring energy to the table and thrive in a dynamic, change-driven environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally for 20-25 days per year as part of global initiatives

Please note that due to the vacation period, the interview process will start in mid-August.
