Working Student Ergonomics
Location: Innovation Site Augsburg | 20 hours/week |

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated student, with human factors/ergonomics/biomechanics background. The successful candidate will be involved in R&D activities, with a focus on design of parts, prototyping, testing and user feedback activities within our dynamic team.

Your key responsibilities:

Participate in research and development activities, contributing to the development of innovative medical solutions:

Background research: Perform background ergonomic research (including biomechanical), and conduct user interviews
Design: Draw new technical solutions in the field of medical devices, utilizing engineering principles and techniques and by using CAD software
Prototyping and 3D printing: Create prototypes using 3D printing
Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of prototypes to ensure functionality and  reliability
Validation: Evaluate the design through user feedback sessions

Your qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Engineering
  • Background in Biomechanics or Ergonomics
  • Strong understanding of product design and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Fluent in English
